All Saints Church originates from the 12th Century, however there are also later additions from the Thirteenth and Fifteenth century. But it is the work that was completed in the Eighteenth century that makes this little parish church so special.

By the late Nineteenth century, the church was in a poor state o repair and the restoration was funded by the Lady of the Manor, Charlotte Meynell-Ingram. Her husband died in a hunting accident in 1871, and thus she employed Bodley and Garner to restore the church in memory of her husband, with Burlison and Grylls responsible for the stained glass.

The beautifully carved and gilded oak rood screen was in a good condition but had not been cleaned since it's installation over 100 years ago. Work was undertaken to clean the gold detailing and polish the oak, as well as consolidation of the broken window. There was also evidence of woodworm in the base of the wood statues, which was treated to prevent another infestation.
