This Victorian blue and white jug was in a reasonable condition - but had sadly suffered a few nicks to the spout and base, thankfully this was easily fixed. 

 

Once cleaned, the spout along with the chips on the jug base were filled and then shaped to fit the shape of the surrounding material. These fills were then retouched to match the surrounding colours, with the blue and white design on the underside of the spout carefully painted with a fine brush.
