Sometimes you get to work on some rather interesting objects, this plastic figurine being one such one. While not antique, it had sentimental value and the past attempt at adhering the pieces back together had failed. 

 

The old adhesive was first carefully removed before each individual piece cleaned to remove the surface layer of dirt. A conservation grade adhesive was used to attach the pieces back together, supporting the objects while the adhesive cured to prevent the pieces from slipping out of alignment. Any surface chips were lastly filled and retouched to give a seamless appearance.
